Who are your biggest influencers and mentors personally & professionally and explain why? My late dad has been a role model for me, because he taught me many life lessons that have helped me live a happy life, no matter what the situation. I miss him every day, but I know he’s watching over me, feeling very proud.

Professionally, I really look up to Priyanka Chopra. She is not only Miss World but also a very talented actress. She has had a very successful career in Bollywood and now she’s making her mark in Hollywood too. Priyanka is the first and only Indian lead character in a US TV series, Quantico.

3 things that we should know about you?

I am an Electronics Engineer. (Yes, this beauty comes with the brains!)
A proud mom of three young boys and have appeared in a Home Depot commercial and on the cover page of Roswell and Milton magazines.
I didn’t speak English until I moved to the US.

I’m a firm believer in Girl Education is Girl Empowerment. I’ve recently started to sponsor the education of two young girls in India and plan to expand it to as many girls as I can. Also, I want my boys to grow up to become good human beings.
