ON BUSINESS
3 things that we should know about you?  I have always loved color, patterns and architecture, this has fueled my love for interior design.  I love the creative process of designing a room, to me it’s like painting a blank canvas.  I am always changing things around in my own house!  I have a deep affection for martial arts, I studied it for many years in different forms and eventually earned a black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  My favorite movie is The Last Samurai.  I am intrigued by the discipline, humility and richness of ancient Japanese culture.

What exciting project are you working on?  We are getting ready to launch Lisa Washington’s third book, Whispers of Silence.  It’s a meditation and daily inspirational book.  We are also planning our Fall Farm to Table dinner party at Fry Farm in Bethlehem as well as our next Beauty In, Beauty Out Wellness Workshop at Anderson Aesthetics, focusing on natural skincare remedies and how food should be an important element in our skincare routine.

Your mantra?  To always speak my truth and live from that place.

GETTING PERSONAL

What do you do for fun? I love to travel, explore, and search for adventure.  Finding adrenaline pumping activities is always an added bonus on my bucket list.  I love yoga, fitness, anything to do with health, beauty and wellness and being on or near the water.  

What legacy do you want to leave behind?  I hope to leave an imprint on my daughters to become strong women of conviction, compassion, authenticity, truth, courage, and faith.  I encourage them to believe in and share that we are all here to support each other and that beauty comes from within.  I try to instill in them to give back and that it is always better to give than to receive. I hope my daughters will grow to be a part of something bigger than themselves, finding value to contribute to a community whether it be locally, in church, family or on a larger global scale.
