What type of company do you run, and the products and services do you offer? We are a bespoke and concierge evening gown store offering exclusive designs and top notch personal service. Additionally, we are the producers and directors of the USOA Miss Georgia Pageant.

What fuels you and the wisdom that you've gained through the years? A saying my mother taught me as a child, short terms sacrifice for a long term gain. Starting a business may be tough at first, but it will be worth it in the end.

What challenges did you face and what motivated you to solve them? I suffer from fibromyalgia and was laid off from my job at 35 weeks pregnant. I started Sparkle & Sass to follow my dreams while empowering other women and inspiring them to be their best. I realized that in order for me to be fully fulfilled, I was going to have to go after my dreams and not allow a chronic pain condition or lack of income deter me. Despite my setbacks, I've been able to achieve success with my store and sharing my story has helped other women find the courage to inspire others while overcoming their challenges.

Three things that we should know about you? I'm a determined hard worker. Once I set my mind to something, I will achieve it no matter how long it takes. I love working with women and making them feel beautiful. I do this through coaching young ladies for pageants as well as the 1 on 1 appointments in my store. Everyone that comes through the door is treated like royalty and made to feel that they are the most important and beautiful woman in the world. Additionally, I love speaking to groups of young women and girls about how they can find their inner beauty and express it to the world.

What are your top accomplishments? My top accomplishments are motherhood, opening my store and running my first successful pageant on November 4th!

Who are the most influential leaders and individuals that you admire and why? I admire Oprah. After reading her life story and studying her career, I took a similar path. She is a woman who speaks eloquently, carries herself with confidence and uses her platform to inspire others. I too, desire to use my platform to inspire and empower.

Books you’ve enjoyed and why? I typically enjoy murder-mystery books, however lately I've been reading a lot of books on operating a retail store and bedtime stories to my 1 year old son. When I have time to really sit down and read, I like to escape my reality and really be enthralled in a book. The best books, in my opinion are the ones where you really begin to care about the characters.
