3 things that we should know about you? Most people would never know that there was a time in my life when I lived in government housing and was on government assistance. As a single mom, I took control of my life and started an online marketing company in the fitness industry. Helping thousands of women across the US, Canada and the UK get physically and financially fit. Taking that one leap of faith changed the entire path for my life. Allowing me many opportunities such as moving to Atlanta, finding my soul-mate; appearing on VH1, TLC as well as a fitness and nutrition infomercial.

What fuels your drive? There are a few different things that fuel my drive. One is fear. The fear of failure pushes me to go beyond the norm and achieve success. Another is knowing that I am a role model for so many women. I know that women are watching and counting on me to do my personal best, to lead by example. Through my own ups and downs, I have the ability to empower other women.

What exciting project are you working on? As Mrs. Georgia Intercontinental 2019, I am currently preparing for the North American title, with the potential to compete for Mrs. Universe.

Books you've enjoyed and what's the takeaway from that book? Awaken the Giant Within by Tony Robbins. My biggest takeaway was to WAKE UP and take control of my life. So often we find ourselves wishing for something to change, when we have the ability to make our wishes come true by simply taking action.

What's been your most successful approach in building business relationships? I have built a successful business through being a good listener and expecting nothing in return. If you have the genuine mindset of helping others, finding out what their needs are and how your services can benefit them you’ll have a longstanding business relationship. No one wants to be sold or to simply feel like a dollar sign. Everyone deserves to feel like they matter.

What do you do for fun? Recently, I started taking a dance class. I think it’s important to constantly push ourselves out of our comfort zone. Taking dance is a great way to express myself, loosen up and create new friendships.
